LYON STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

Lyon Street Photography is a collection of 34 photographs I took during my solo trip from March to May in France. I spent two and a half months exploring the heart of the city.

During my stay I worked at the Cervantes Institution, whenever I had free time I would explore the city for hours on end, since I didn’t quite have anything else to do.

I didn’t speak French, so it was impossible for me to socialize with anyone at all. I hardly understood any sentence, barely any words, my pronunciation was and still is horrible. So I chose to observe people, visit new places, their interactions, the way they spoke, the unfamiliarity of my surroundings, framing every possible photo I could take in my imagination, just focusing on getting the best photo I could of the moment I was shooting.
